Hi,
I am using 5.4.0 VMP and VDC. The VM are running Windows 7 in non-persistent mode. The Windows 7 OS has been optimised for VDI environment and Sangfor 5.4 vdi agent was installed. I am using the latest VDI client program on Wyse ThinClient (Dual Core with 4G RAM).

The performance of playing youtube video was very poor even when the VMP system and network loading was low. Is there anything that can be done to improve the video playing performance please?

Thank you.

Regards,
Terry

1.Check the CPU & Memory usage of the VM.
2.Check if you have any kind of Bandwidth Management.
3.If current VM has joined a domain, try create another VM without a domain to identify is it affected by Domain Policy.

Thank you for your reply. FYI, the VM was configured to have Dual Core & 4G RAM.
1. The CPU & Memory was 42% and 32% respectively.
2. There is no bandwidth management.
3. The VM did not join any domain.

I have changed the configuration of one of the VM to Quad Core & 4G RAM. CPU & Memory usage was 21% and 32%. However, performance of play YouTube was as bad as before. Audio and Video was out of sync.

Much appreciated if you could share some insights please.

Regards,
Terry

Thanks!

In that case i think it's better to contact Sangfor Support to have the engineers to look into this issue
