Yes, it is possible to import a VM to a datastore from a USB HDD directly attached to a Sangfor node. However, you would need to perform the import through the Sangfor interface rather than using the standard import VM tool in the GUI.

You mentioned that you can expose the HDD to internal Sangfor VMs, so you could potentially mount the USB HDD to a Sangfor VM and then transfer the OVA image to the Sangfor datastore using standard file transfer methods. Once the OVA image is on the Sangfor datastore, you should be able to import it into the Sangfor virtualization environment.
