hello.

is there any impact when we add new VPN topologies in bbc ?

Hi, as i know, there's no impact when adding new vpn on bbc as the tunnels are different.

To add VPN topologies using BBC (Bandwidth-Based Control) in Sangfor NGAF (Next-Generation Application Firewall), follow these steps:

Access BBC Page:
Log in to your Sangfor NGAF management interface.
Navigate to the BBC page.

Configure VPN Paths:
Within the BBC page, you can configure VPN paths.
Go to VPN > SD-WAN Paths > VPN Paths.
Here, you can define the VPN paths and their associated parameters.

Impact of BBC:
BBC allows you to control bandwidth allocation for different VPN paths based on your organization’s requirements.
By adjusting bandwidth limits, you can prioritize critical traffic (such as business applications) over less critical traffic.
The impact of using BBC includes:
Optimized Traffic: Efficiently allocate available bandwidth to ensure smooth communication across VPN paths.
Improved Performance: Prioritize essential applications, minimizing latency and ensuring a better user experience.
Resource Management: Manage network resources effectively by controlling bandwidth usage.

Remember that configuring VPN paths with BBC should align with your network design, business needs, and performance goals.
Is this answer helpful?

sorri what i mention above is BBC (Business Centralized Management), not (bandwidth based control).

depending on your specific situation, adding new VPN topologies to your business centralized management can have several impacts, either negative or positive. Please see sample below:

1. Positive impacts
- increased flexibility and scalability
- improved network performance
- enhanced security
- streamlined mnagement
2. Negative impacts
- increased complexity
- potential compatibility issues
- security risks
- performance overhead

Hi,
Adding new VPN topologies on BCM may have the following impact:

•  It may increase the network performance and availability by providing more paths and redundancy for the VPN traffic.
•  It may improve the network security and compliance by applying consistent policies and rules across the VPN topologies.
•  It may reduce the network complexity and cost by simplifying the VPN configuration and management.
•  It may affect the existing VPN topologies and services by changing the routing or bandwidth allocation.

Therefore, before adding new VPN topologies on BCM, you should consider the following factors:
•  The network requirements and objectives of your business, such as the number of sites, the traffic volume and type, the service level agreement, etc.
•  The network resources and constraints of your infrastructure, such as the device model and capacity, the link type and quality, the budget and license, etc.
•  The network design and best practices of your VPN solution, such as the topology type and size, the encryption and authentication methods, the routing and QoS protocols, etc.

When adding new VPN topologies in a Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SDWAN) with Next-Generation Application Firewall (NGAF) capabilities like BBC (Big Brother Cloud), several impacts should be considered. These may include potential changes in network performance due to increased traffic routing, adjustments in security policies to accommodate the new VPN configurations, potential scalability concerns with the addition of more endpoints, and ensuring compatibility and interoperability with existing network infrastructure. There might be implications for network monitoring and management processes, requiring updates to monitoring tools and configurations to effectively oversee the expanded VPN environment within the SDWAN-NGAF framework.
