As for the issue with regards to the dashboard not showing on your Android device, you may refer to some of the steps below:

1. try to turn off WIFI on your device and turn it back ON again
2. try to forget the WIFI network and reconnect again
3. disable auto-reconnect option on the WIFI network
4. open any webpage in your browser since sometimes your android may fail to load the captive portal login page immediately after connecting to a network. try opening a random website in your browser to see if that redirects to the login page
5. avoid using third party custom dns
6. disable vpn
7. reset network settings

For Android users accessing a captive portal via a mobile browser, displaying a login dashboard integrated with social media might encounter limitations due to certain browsers restricting pop-ups or redirecting away from the portal. To mitigate this, consider using a responsive design that adapts well to mobile screens and avoids pop-up windows. Implement a login flow that's optimized for mobile browsers, perhaps by utilizing embedded social media authentication within the portal page itself, enabling users to log in seamlessly without the need for pop-ups or redirects. Testing on various Android browsers and considering user experience will be key in ensuring a smooth login process for mobile users.

Hi
Sometimes, your Android may fail to load the captive portal login page immediately after connecting to a network. In that case, you can try opening a random website in your browser and see if that redirects you to the login page.
Open the default web browser on your Android, type in a website URL in the address bar, and select the first result that appears.
Thanks

This can be a frustrating issue, but there are several things you can try to troubleshoot it:

1. Check Sangfor documentation and support:

First, consult the Sangfor documentation for your specific captive portal version. There may be known issues or specific configuration steps for social media login and Android devices.
If you can't find the information you need in the documentation, contact Sangfor support directly. They will be able to provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date troubleshooting steps.

2. Verify social media platform integration:

Make sure your Sangfor captive portal is properly integrated with the social media platforms you want to use for login. Double-check your API keys, redirect URLs, and other configuration settings.
Some social media platforms may have specific requirements or limitations for captive portal integrations. Review the platform's developer documentation for any relevant information.

3. Test with different Android devices and browsers:

Try accessing the captive portal using different Android devices and browsers on your network. This will help you narrow down if the issue is specific to certain devices or software.
If you find that the login dashboard works on some devices but not others, it could be a compatibility issue with a specific Android version or browser. You may need to wait for an update from Sangfor or the device/browser manufacturer to fix the problem.

4. Check for network connectivity issues:

Ensure that your captive portal server is accessible from Android devices on your network. You can use tools like ping or traceroute to verify connectivity.
If there are any network connectivity issues, this could prevent the login dashboard from loading properly.

5. Consider alternative login methods:

If you're still having trouble with social media login for Android users, you may want to consider offering alternative login methods, such as email address and password or captive portal vouchers.
This will ensure that all users on your network can access the internet through your captive portal, even if they have trouble with social media login.
