To install Sangfor Endpoint Secure Agent on VMWare ESXi and manage it under Platform-X, begin by downloading the appropriate agent package from Sangfor's official website. Next, access your VMWare ESXi console and create a new virtual machine (VM) or select an existing VM where you intend to install the agent. Install the operating system compatible with the Sangfor Endpoint Secure Agent within the VM. Once the OS is set up, download and install the agent within the VM according to the provided instructions. After successful installation, ensure that the VM has network connectivity and is visible within your Platform-X management interface. From there, you can configure and manage the Sangfor Endpoint Secure Agent settings, policies, and security measures through Platform-X's centralized management platform.

Hi, about deploying sase on your ESXi, you can download OVA or ISO here:

•        OVA  https://download.sangfor.com/dow ... .7.12R2/EDR3.7.12EN(20230927).ova
•        ISO  https://download.sangfor.com/dow ... .7.12R2/EDR3.7.12EN(20230927).iso

About vm sizing, you have to assign these settings: (8CPU+16GB RAM+250GB - disk space but for production environment you have to assign more space because it depends on the number of managed endpoints)

In order to install Sangfor Endpoint Secure Agent on VMWare ESXi to be managed by Platform-X you may try the below:
- download your preferred agent package thru Sangfor website
- access your VMWare ESXi management console
- to install the agent, you need to create a new VM or select from your existing VMs
- install your preferred OS on the selected VM
- after the OS installation, you may now proceed with the installation of the Agent to the selected VM
- connect your VM to your network
- configure the Sangfor Endpoint Agent settings, policies, and other settings  through Platform-X management platform

for the Installation in OVA Image Mode, please see steps below
1. Import the OVA templatefrom the local environment
2. Configure the network. You can configure the network on the web portal in the 3.2.22EN or a later version
(full installation).
     - Log in to the Manager.
     - Configure the PC IP address in the same network segment as the managementp ort of the Manager. Open the browser, enter the default Manager address https://10.251.251.251 in the address box, and press Enter. Log in to the Manager. The default user name and password are admin and admin, respectively. The default IP address of the Manager management port is 10.251.251.251/24. Internet Explorer 11 or later, Firefox, and Google Chrome are supported.
   - Configure the Manager's IP address. Choose System > System > Network, click the Interfaces tab, and set IP Address
   - Configure DNS addresses. Choose System > System > Network, click the Advanced tab, and set Preferred DNS and Alternate DNS. The DNS addresses must be configured because domain names need to be parsed when the Manager updates the antivirus database. Configure routes. Choose System > System > Network, click the Routing tab, and configure routes. Routes must be configured for the Manager to connect to and communicate with endpoints.
3. Verify that the Manager installation is successful.
   - Log in to the Manager (default address: https://10.251.251.251, default user name and password: admin and admin) and check whether the version number on the home page is correct. If the version
number is correct, the installation is successful.
