Your concern with regards to your internet connection and SP updates on Sangfor NGAF, the proxy settings must be configured first on the Proxy settings of your NGAF which includes the correct proxy address and port numbers . If you are the administrator, you need to configure the proxy settings thru Sangfor NGAF web portal. if not, you have to coordinate with the Sangfor NGAF administrator.

This issue might be resolved and your firewall can now connect to the internet and obtain SP updates. If not, you may contact Sangfor TAC support for assistance and resolution of this issue.

It seems like your device is unable to connect to the internet to fetch the SP update for the Sangfor Firewall. To resolve this, you might need to configure the proxy settings on your device. First, access your network settings and locate the proxy configuration section. Input the proxy details into the designated fields within your device's network settings. After applying these changes, try accessing the Sangfor Firewall web portal again to download the SP update. I

In order to resolve the issue of Internet connection and SP updates on the Sangfor Firewall web portal, configure the proxy settings within the firewall. Once configured, the firewall can connect to the Internet and obtain SP updates.
Please make sure to use the correct proxy server address and port number provided by your network administrator or Internet service provider.

1. If you're doing your own membership you probably don't need a stored procedure to login, just return the user by username and then check their password in code.
2. Check your SP if you're going down that route, do the following:
Check that the SP exists within your EDMX, do this via the model browser
Check that the SP exists on your Database Server, via SSMS
Check that you can execute the SP as yourself on SSMS with appropriate params
Check that the user your website is connecting to the db with (likely a SQL login) can both connect to the database and has execute permissions to the stored procedure.

Hi, if you are behind proxy, you have to configure this proxy settings to your NGAF. Double check if you have some restrictions on your carrier pre device in order to avoid that some NGAF traffic might be blocked.

The error message "The current device cannot connect to the Internet and cannot obtain SP update" suggests that your Sangfor Firewall cannot connect to the internet for some reason, which is preventing it from downloading software patches and updates. Here are some things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Check your internet connection:

Ensure your network cable is securely connected to the Sangfor Firewall and to the internet router or modem.
Verify that the internet connection on the router or modem is working properly.
Try connecting another device to the internet through the same router or modem to confirm it's not a general internet issue.

2. Verify the network settings on the Sangfor Firewall:

Log in to the Sangfor Firewall web portal.
Navigate to the network settings section.
Check if the correct IP address, subnet mask, and gateway are configured for your network.
Ensure the DNS server addresses are properly configured.
If your network requires a proxy server, verify that the proxy settings are entered correctly in the Sangfor Firewall configuration.

3. Update the Sangfor Firewall firmware:

Download the latest firmware update for your Sangfor Firewall model from the official Sangfor website.
Follow the instructions in the user manual to update the firmware. Updating the firmware may resolve any software issues preventing the internet connection.

To resolve the issue with obtaining the SP update for your Sangfor Firewall, you may need to configure the proxy settings. Here's how you can proceed:

Accessing Proxy Settings:
Open the web portal of your Sangfor Firewall.
Look for the settings or configuration section related to internet or network settings.

Enter Proxy Information:
Once you locate the network settings, look for the proxy configuration option.
Enter the required proxy information, including the proxy server address, port, and any authentication details if applicable.

Save and Apply Changes:
After entering the proxy information, make sure to save or apply the changes.
Restart the firewall or refresh the settings to ensure the new proxy information is properly applied.

Obtaining SP Update:
Once the proxy settings are configured, try to obtain the SP update again.
Check if the firewall can now connect to the internet and retrieve the required updates.

If you're unsure about the specific proxy details to enter, you may need to consult with your network administrator or IT support team to obtain the correct proxy server information.

By configuring the appropriate proxy settings, you should be able to address the issue and successfully obtain the SP update for your Sangfor Firewall.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with the Sangfor Firewall. To resolve this problem, you may need to configure proxy settings on your device. The specific steps to do this can vary depending on the device and operating system you're using. However, I can provide you with general guidance.

1. **Check Network Connection:**
Before configuring the proxy, ensure that your device has a stable internet connection. Make sure you can access other websites to rule out a general connectivity issue.

2. **Proxy Configuration:**
Here's a general guide on how to configure proxy settings on different platforms:

   - **Windows:**
     - Open the Control Panel.
     - Go to "Network and Sharing Center."
     - Click on "Internet Options."
     - Navigate to the "Connections" tab and click on "LAN settings."
     - Check "Use a proxy server for your LAN" and enter the proxy server address and port.

   - **Mac:**
     - Open "System Preferences."
     - Go to "Network."
     - Select your active network connection.
     - Click on "Advanced" and go to the "Proxies" tab.
     - Configure the Web Proxy (HTTP) and Secure Web Proxy (HTTPS) settings.

   - **Linux:**
     - Proxy settings can vary between distributions, but you can usually set proxy information in the network settings or use environment variables like `http_proxy` and `https_proxy`.

   - **Mobile Devices:**
     - For iOS and Android, proxy settings are usually set in the Wi-Fi or network settings.

Please note that the proxy information you need to enter should be provided by your network administrator or the person responsible for managing your network infrastructure. If you don't have this information, reach out to your IT department for assistance.
