1. What Are the New Functionalities?

Feature 1: Application (App) Control

1)   Reduce the risks of security breaches caused by users running illegitimate and vulnerable applications.

2)   Improve security compliance through eliminating the risks of data leakage - block illegal IM or file-sharing applications.

3)   Cost savings: avoid spending on additional solutions to address shadow IT.

Feature 2: USB Control for MacOS

1)   Further extend the security policy of USB control in environments with mac OS endpoints.

2)   Achieve feature parity with USB control as Windows.

3)   Achieve better security compliance and reduce the cost of additional endpoint management solutions.

Feature 3: Watermarking

1)   Provides an additional layer of protection against data leakage and illegal transfer of sensitive and protected data.

2)   Acts as a deterrence against rogue users.

3)   Allows businesses to trace the source of leakage – who and when.

Feature 4: Improvements to Endpoint Scanning

1) Adaptive Scanning:

Users will be continuously protected with Endpoint Secure and will not be impacted by usability issues.

2. Improvements to Security Capabilities

1) Ransomware AI Behavior Detection:

Further, improve the security protection of ransomware for Sangfor customers – ransomware still being one of the most important protection scenarios in any region.

2) Memory Trojan Detection:

The functionality allows partners and customers to have better visibility of memory-based attacks and take action before any harm is done.

3. During This Beta Test, Sangfor Will:

1). Provide timely information to our testers about the test.

2). Provide technical support as best as we can for any issues that may arise relating to the beta software.

3). An avenue for you to track issues and assist in resolving them.

4). Software or firmware upgrades during this beta trial.

4. During This Beta Test, You Will:

Provide feedback to Sangfor, which can include the following:

1). Feedback, impressions, and suggestions on new features and GUI changes;

2). Any issues, bugs, errors, or other unexpected events;

3). Completion of the evaluation form at the conclusion of the test;

5. Some Rewards You Can Get:

We set up some incentive criteria for your valuable feedback that will help us improve and optimize these functions.

6. How to Join the Beta Testing?

The beta testing will last at least one month, including three main processes: enroll, test, and give feedback. The following flow chart will help you understand the entire flow of this campaign.

1) Enrollment Period:    Aug. 16 - Sep. 16

2) Testing Period:   Sep. 1 - Sep. 30

3) Feedback Period:   Sep. 10 - Oct. 10
