To direct bandwidth to a specific cloud application, such as SAP on Sangfor IAG, you can follow these steps:

  • Identify the application traffic: First, you need to identify the traffic generated by the SAP application. You can use various network monitoring tools or packet capture utilities to monitor the network traffic generated by the SAP application.
  • Create a traffic policy: Once you have identified the SAP traffic, you can create a traffic policy on the Sangfor IAG. The traffic policy will prioritize the SAP traffic over other traffic.
  • Configure bandwidth control: After creating the traffic policy, you can configure bandwidth control to allocate more bandwidth to the SAP traffic. You can set a maximum limit on the bandwidth available to other applications and allocate more bandwidth to the SAP traffic.
  • Apply the traffic policy: After configuring the bandwidth control, you need to apply the traffic policy to the Sangfor IAG. The traffic policy will prioritize the SAP traffic and allocate more bandwidth to it.
  • Test and optimize: Finally, you need to test and optimize the bandwidth allocation to ensure that the SAP application is receiving sufficient bandwidth for optimal performance. You may need to adjust the bandwidth allocation settings based on the performance of the SAP application.

To direct bandwidth to a specific cloud application such as SAP, you can prioritize traffic for that application using Quality of Service (QoS) settings on your network. This involves configuring your network devices to give higher priority to traffic from the SAP application, ensuring that it gets the necessary bandwidth it needs to perform optimally.

Create a policy where you must prioritize the critical or the most important applications.

do it through policy role

Create a policy then add the bandwidth control

Create a policy, declare the bandwidth and apply the policy.
