If your OS is Windows 10 and up you can use "Hotspot 2.0 networks", just configure it then you can connect 2 or more devices to it.

1. Make sure both PCs have wireless network adapters and that they are both connected to the same wireless network.

2. On both PCs go to the Control Panel and then go to Network and Sharing Center.

3. On the left hand side of the window, select Change advanced sharing settings and then select Turn on network discovery and Turn on file and printer sharing.

4. Go to the Start menu and search for view network computers and then select View network computers and devices.

5. You should now see both PCs listed. Select one of the PCs and then select the option to Share the folder.

6. On the other PC, select the folder and then enter the username and password of the first PC.

7. You can now access the shared folder and transfer files between the two PCs.
