bfsouth Lv1Posted 13 Mar 2023 12:47

I have 2 Sangfor IAM devices in two regions. What i want is that when user login from device A and visits a site that is protected by device B. It should be able to access that site directly without explicitly login to device B.
summary is that login session of device A should also work with device B.

In point A, set the IAM as "Server" then on point B, set it as "Client" then make sure that the authentication in the  A and B are the same

o synchronize user login sessions in multiple Sangfor IAM devices, you can use Sangfor's Central Authentication Service (CAS) feature. CAS is a centralized authentication service that enables users to log in to multiple Sangfor IAM devices with a single set of credentials.
To set up CAS for session synchronization, you will need to follow these general steps:
Configure the primary Sangfor IAM device as the CAS server, and configure the secondary Sangfor IAM devices as CAS clients.
Configure the CAS server with the user account database and authentication methods (such as LDAP or RADIUS) used to authenticate users.
Configure the CAS clients to authenticate users through the CAS server, and specify the CAS server's URL.
Configure the CAS server to share session information with the CAS clients, so that users can maintain their login session across multiple devices.
Test the CAS configuration to ensure that user login sessions are synchronized across all Sangfor IAM devices.

It's important to note that the exact steps for setting up CAS may vary depending on your specific Sangfor IAM devices and network configuration. You should consult the Sangfor documentation and/or contact Sangfor support for guidance on how to set up CAS for session synchronization.
