Sangfor IAM Policy Based Routing Configuration

Configuration Steps——

Step 1.  First, go to BandwidthManagement > Link Load Balancing. Click on “Enable link load balancing policy”. When the new window pops up, click “Yes” to confirm.



Step 2.  Make sure the line state detection is configured and status is “Normal”.

Step 3.  Move the mouse over to Priority Description to know the different routing priority.

From the selection below, we can select different default link load balancing policy and view its explanation and function.

Step 4.  For this tutorial, we will be configuring preferred policy-based routing. Go to preferred policy-based routing. Click on“Add” to add new policy for ISP1.

Give a name to the policy. Select the applicable User,Application, Network Group and Service.


Step 5.  For applications, we will be selecting all “Social Networking” and “Shopping”.




Step 6.  Go to line selection. Select specified as line selection. Select WAN1 as outgoing interface. Click “Commit” when done.


Step 7.  Add another new policy for ISP2.


For this policy in ISP2, we will be selecting all applications except the “Social Networking” and “Shopping”.


Step 8.  In Line Selection, Select WAN2 as outgoing interface. Click “Commit” when done.

From here, we can see that our policy has been created.
