Sangfor Community Guidelines

Welcome to Sangfor Community! We are thrilled to give you a warm welcome to this space.

Our mission is to provide instant and professional technical support, helpful technical documentation and video sources to all of our users, and create an active open forum where everyone could ask, answer and discuss about Internet Security and Cloud computing.

To that end, we will be working hard to ensure that we align our actions with that purpose. These Community Guidelines should not only help you understand how to act within the community but also help you understand what to expect from others in this space.

Registration

First thing first, let’s talk about registration.

As a Guest, you are not required to register as a member if viewing and browsing is all you need for the moment. You can talk with our Live Chat support, view most of the public content in the community, including the forum posts, events, and even download the public documents in Resources.

But if you are ready to join your peers, ask, answer and discuss the trending questions in the forum, participate in the hot events to win coins and rewards, or need to create a support case for your work, then you will need to register and Create an Account.

How to Register

1. We recommend you register the community with your corporate email and fill in your contact information correctly. Then when Technical Support is required from your side, we can contact you immediately and precisely without spending extra time on contact communication. Saving much of the time.
2. Register with disposable email is forbade.
3. Only 1 account for 1 user. Multiple accounts for the same user are forbade and will be deleted.

Account Types
There are 3 types of accounts in the community: common users, VIP members, and Partner. The last 2 requires identity verification.

VIP member
If you are using a Sangfor product, we highly recommend you to verify your account as VIP member.
As a VIP member, you will receive double coin tokens for all your behaviors, much faster and more convenient for you to save up coins and redeem your favorite gifts!


Partner Account
If your company is a partner with Sangfor, please verify your account as Partner, you can access more resources exclusive to Sangfor Partners in the community, and have access to Sangfor Certificate Program!

Now, you are a member of Sangfor Community!

You can create your first post to introduce yourself to everyone, or ask a question that bothers you. [by click Post button on the navigation bar] You can reply to our events to win gifts, or view and download our massive documents. Most importantly, you can create Support Case if you need help, and track the handling status all in your account!

Etiquette and Guidelines

As we are an open forum that thrived to provide everyone professional technical support, we want to create a pure and informative atmosphere here so that everyone is learning and progressing though each visit! Therefore, we have made the following rules to achieve this goal for all of us.

Etiquette

1. Answering questions posted by other members, helping them solving problems
2. Sharing technical experience, or best practice
3. Actively participating in the online/offline events
4. Giving feedback about Sangfor products or community
5. Learning technical documents and obtaining Sangfor Certificate
6. Contacting Sangfor Support if in need through Live Chat, Open Support Case, and Email (tech.support@sangfor.com)
7. Reporting any violations or breach of rules of other members by clicking the Report button in each post, or contacting community team to help build a helpful forum for everyone
8. Applying for Moderator for a sub-forum (contact community@sangfor.com for the details)

Forbidden Behaviors

1. Copyright or intellectual property violations, or copy and paste others reply in any threads
2. Registering multiple accounts (sock-puppets) to claim coins, or transferring massive coins to a single account to redeem gifts
3. Any harassment or hateful conduct, including discrimination, sexual content or nudity, and violence content
4. Spam and scams
5. Impersonating other users , harming others or acting maliciously
6. Promoting products/services that is not related to Sangfor
7. Any Illegal activities

Punishment

Once the above mentioned forbidden behaviors are found, the user account will be banned temporarily or permanently.

The Guidelines will be updated regularly, and the final interpretation of this guideline belongs to Sangfor Community.
