HCI Storage Network Deployment Mode

Hi for the storage network deployment mode, why would Sangfor recommends Link Aggregation with one Switch over Link Aggregation with two switches? Since the single switch is a single point of failure in this case.

Apart from saving $$ with single switch purchase, I don't really see the benefit in there. Not to say redundancy is a key thing in all data centers.

Thanks
Eddy

Hi Eddy,

Thanks for your feedback. For your information, HCI version 5.8.3 onwards recommends Link Aggregation with Two Switch.

Hi CTI LS,

I see. The 5.8.3 user manual is still showing Link Aggregation with One Switch (Recommended), page 28. I think it needs to be updated.

Thank you
Eddy
