Hi, I want to ask if there is a way to exclude a certain partition in VM Backup.
let say, I just want to backup the boot partition of the VM, thanks

I believe you may want to save up some spaces by doing so, but unfortunately not possible to do that.
The Virtual Machine data is stored using qcow2 file format and when performing backups, it uses the process of copying incremental data based on the qcow2 file.
The nature of the design is for disaster recovery scenario.

The backup can be do for backup the whole VM instead of specific partition.
