HCI vs Traditional Virtualization — Where the Migration Case Is Strongest (and Weakest)

Opening this thread to share experiences on when moving to Sangfor HCI makes the strongest case versus traditional virtualization setups — and where it's a harder sell or a less obvious win.

Feel free to share:

Environments where HCI clearly outperformed traditional virtualization (storage simplicity, scaling, cost of ownership, management overhead, etc.)
Cases where traditional virtualization still made more sense — legacy hardware investment, specific storage requirements, application compatibility, etc.
Migration pain points you ran into (P2V/V2V) that changed how you'd pitch or plan the next one
Sizing lessons — situations where HCI hardware was under- or over-provisioned relative to expectations
Any surprises post-migration, good or bad, that weren't obvious during the POC stage

Would be great to hear real deployment stories — small business vs enterprise vs industrial environments all welcome, since the trade-offs likely look different across each.
