Installing HCI on a CPU model that is not listed in the compatibility list

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask if anyone has experience installing Sangfor on a CPU model that is not listed in the compatibility list.

I have a customer whom I encouraged to proceed with a POC. However, we found that their server CPU, Intel Xeon Platinum 8454H, is not included in the compatibility list. As a result, the customer has lost confidence in proceeding with the POC on their server.

Has anyone encountered a similar situation? If so, could you please share your experience, any successful deployment cases, or any references that I can use to reassure the customer and help rebuild their confidence in moving forward with the POC?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi
The Intel Xeon Platinum 8454H is a new Intel processor. Not being listed on Sangfor's current Hardware Compatibility List (HCL) doesn't mean it's unsupported, but it does mean Sangfor hasn't officially certified that HCI/NGAF version.
