# Sangfor HCI and Zabbix SNMP Trap Integration

## Overview
We are integrating Sangfor HCI with Zabbix using SNMP Trap following the official SCP configuration guide v02 (Dec 2024).

## Configuration
- SNMP Trap service configured in SCP (System → Services → SNMP Trap)
- Zabbix server IP and port 162 configured

## Question
When a physical HCI node generates an alert (CPU critical, node down, disk failure), is the SNMP trap sent from:

**Option A:** The SCP management platform (single source, one IP) with the alarmObject field identifying the specific node?

**Option B:** Each individual HCI node (separate source IP per node)?

## Decision Needed
Should we create:
- One Zabbix host for the SCP IP (receiving all HCI alerts), or
- One host per physical node?

## Environment
- SCP v6.11+
- Zabbix 7.0
- 4 physical HCI nodes
