aDesk-STD-320 auto-login, is it possible?

Simone Eusebi Lv1Posted Mar-02-2026 17:20

Hi all,
I have a lab with 30 clients. I use authentication on Vms (Win11 vms joined to active directory with more than 250k users).
How can I bypass the username/password request that the client aDesk-STD-320 prompt me everytime I turn it on?
I'm not interested in SSO procedure because it's risky import so many users into VDC.

Thanks in advance
best regards

Simone

To bypass the username and password request on the aDesk-STD-320 client when turning it on, you can configure automatic login for the VDI client or box to the VM. This does not require importing users into VDC for SSO.

You can follow these steps based on your VDI version:

If your VDI version is prior to 5.6.0:
1. Log in to the VDC, go to [System] - [Logging in] - [VDI Client], and check both [Allow auto login] and [Allow user to save username and password].
2. On the PC with the VDI client, log in to VDI, then check [Auto Login] and [Save Password]. After a successful login, the client will automatically log in next time.
3. To enable automatic login to the VM, log in to the VDC, go to [VDI Options] - [Resources], edit the resource, click [Automatic Login Method], check [Enabled], and configure the account for automatic login.

If your VDI version is 5.6.0 or later:
1. Log in to the Administrator Console, go to [Clients] - [Client Settings], and check [Allow auto login] and [Allow user to save username and password].
2. On the PC with the VDI client, log in to VDI, then check [Auto Login] and [Save Password]. For box login, check [Auto Login] and [Save Password] during login. After a successful login, the client or box will automatically log in next time.
3. Log in to [Resources] - [Resources], edit the corresponding resource, click [Automatic Login Method], check [Enabled], and configure the account for automatic login.
