Hi, to enter the BIOS settings of a virtual machine (VM) in an HCI (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure) cluster, you can follow these steps:

1. Log in to the HCI Console: Start by logging into the HCI platform where your VM is hosted.

2. Navigate to the VM: Go to the [Compute] section and locate the specific VM you want to access.

3. Edit VM Configuration: Click on the VM to edit its settings. You will find an option labeled [More] or similar, which allows you to access additional settings.
4. Set BIOS Timeout: In the configuration settings, navigate to [Configuration] and then [Other Hardware]. Here, you can set the BIOS timeout. It is recommended to set it to a value like 30 seconds to ensure you have enough time to enter the BIOS during boot.

5. Restart the VM: After setting the BIOS timeout, restart the VM.

6. Enter BIOS: During the boot process, press the F8 key to enter the BIOS interface. This key may vary depending on the VM configuration, but F8 is commonly used.

By following these steps, you should be able to successfully access the BIOS settings of your VM within the HCI cluster.

Having trouble accessing the BIOS in your VM? I've found that repeatedly tapping the "Delete" key or "F2" during the initial boot process often works. Sometimes, you need to spam it! But it really depends on your virtualization software and the VM's configuration settings.

Has anyone else found specific keys that work better depending on the VM environment?
