I have learned how to perform Sangfor HCI cross-cluster migration and upgrade by preparing a transit cluster, upgrading the source cluster to 6.3.0R1 with the latest patch, migrating SCP and converting licenses from VKEY to U-KEY if needed, then upgrading both SCP and HCI to 6.9.0 before migrating VMs back to the original cluster.

I have learned how Sangfor VDI V5.9.1 integrates with HCI stretched clusters for disaster recovery, especially the detailed steps on deploying a witness node and stretched datastore were very useful.

I used the Sangfor VDI V5.9.1 Disaster Recovery Configuration Guide, and it helped me understand how to set up disaster recovery for VDI. The section on creating VDI templates and VM resources was particularly helpful for practical implementation.

The topology diagrams and configuration walkthroughs opened my eyes, and I’d recommend this document to colleagues who are setting up HCI-VDI environments with DR in mind.

I have learned how Sangfor’s SCP platform integrates object storage into its backup copy strategy, offering a secure, scalable, and efficient solution for VM data protection and disaster recovery.

I used Sangfor Backup Copy Support Object Storage Guide, and it helped me understand how to configure object storage for backup copies, especially the sharding mechanism and encryption process were very useful. These ensure performance optimization and data security when storing large backup files in object storage.

I used VM Backup Copy Support Object Storage(S3) Guide on SCP 6.10.0 and above. It's quite impressive on the sharding feature with MYSQL database. The concept of sharding is introduced to effectively address the random
I/O write issues in object storage.
