Does IAG need direct Internet Access for the Neural-X, Engine Zero, Malware Detection, Malicious URL Detection to function properly?
Since our IAG doesn't have direct Internet Access, it can just access Internet using Proxy service.

The IAG's Neural-X, Engine Zero, Malware Detection, and Malicious URL Detection features typically require Internet access to function properly.

Direct Internet Access vs. Proxy Service
While direct Internet access is often preferred, many systems can operate with proxy services. To determine if your IAG can function with a proxy service:

1. *Check the system's documentation*: Review the IAG's documentation to see if it supports proxy services for these features.
2. *Configure the proxy settings*: If supported, configure the proxy settings according to the system's requirements.
3. *Test the features*: Verify that the features are working as expected with the proxy service.

Potential Considerations
When using a proxy service:

1. *Ensure proxy server compatibility*: Verify that the proxy server is compatible with the IAG's requirements.
2. *Configure proxy settings correctly*: Ensure that the proxy settings are correctly configured to allow the IAG to access the Internet.
3. *Monitor performance*: Monitor the performance of the IAG's features to ensure they're functioning as expected.

If you're unsure about the configuration or compatibility, consider consulting the system's documentation or contacting the support team for further assistance.

Basically, IAG can be applied into several scenarios, Route Mode, Single Arm Mode, Bridge Mode, Bypass mode, and authentication mode.

IAG has a routing feature, which allows direct internet access. Also IAG can be act as proxy server, but i cannot find configuration menu for IAG access internet using proxy.

When IAG does not have internet access, then updating the database for engine zero, WAF signature can be done manually by downloading from the Sangfor community site and uploading the database into IAG.  you can download updated database here
"https://community.sangfor.com/plugin.php?id=service:download&action=view&fid=10#/59/all"

please Check.
