I will run Sequoia in VirtualBox. I know that I need to activate the "use cpu from host" option for this, but the

These errors might indicate that a Windows service relying on Microsoft Hyper-V is running on your host PC. Hyper-V often interferes with VirtualBox, and simply unchecking the Hyper-V option may not fully disable it.

  • To completely disable Hyper-V, follow these steps:
  • Close all applications—your system will need to restart.
  • Open Command Prompt as Administrator (right-click the icon and select "Run as Administrator").
  • Run the following command:

bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
  • Then execute this command to shut down your PC:

shutdown -s -t 2
  • After the computer powers off, unplug it for about 20 seconds. Then reconnect the power and restart Windows.

VirtualBox should now work properly. If you still encounter the "VERR_NEM_VM_CREATE_FAILED" error, repeat the steps carefully. If the issue persists, describe exactly what you did, and we'll assist further.
