Good day,
after VPN connection established - EasyConnect add corporate DNS servers to local interface on computers and than we have IP registration for both adapters VPN and local (Have two record on DNS with VPN IP 10.10. and local IP 192.168. ).
On FortiNet community i found solution for their product
=========================================
This is the key to modify: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Fortinet\FortiClient\Sslvpn\NoDnsRegistration. You have to enter a value of 2.
=========================================

But can't find any solution for EasyConnect VPN.
Disabling DNS registration from local adapters is not solution for as.
Maybe anybody known how resolve this issue ?
Thanks and have a nice day.

Hi, I understand the issue you’re facing—it’s a common problem when VPN clients register both the local and VPN IPs in DNS, causing duplicate records. Unfortunately, EasyConnect doesn’t have an exact equivalent to FortiClient’s NoDnsRegistration registry key. One approach that often works is to configure the VPN client or the corporate DNS server to prioritize the VPN adapter for DNS registration, or to use split-DNS so that only the VPN IP is registered for internal domains. Another option is to use a group policy or script on the client side to unregister the local interface’s DNS after the VPN connects. It’s not an out-of-the-box setting, but combining these methods usually resolves the duplicate DNS entries.
