Can you tell me if there is an entry in the alarms where it warns me if a power supply is in trouble?

Hi,

For a particular power alerts, you can navigate to BMC Settings > Alerts then under Alerts Settings, scroll down to Event Filter.
Choose Sensor Type : Power unit and click Save. Default setting is All Sensors.

Hi, you have to first setup dns correctly (i suggest you to use external dns like opendns). After that, you can find an smtp alarm section here (bmc web ui may be different)
