I attempted to import an OVF file from VMware into Sangfor HCI. The imported VM is openSUSE, and when I try to install vmtools, I receive this message.

"VirtIO driver is not supported."

I don't encounter any errors when deploying a new VM in Sangfor HCI; the issue arises only when I import a VM from VMware.

How do i install the vmtools?

Hi,

Click Edit on the virtual machine > on the Edit Virtual Machine pop up windows > click Configuration > scroll to Networking > Advanced > Adapter Model : choose any other than virtio. Restart your VM.

You may need to download the latest VirtIO drivers from Sangfor or the Fedora Project (often used for VirtIO in Linux VMs).

Hi, the error tells you that you have to install kernel modules mptbase.ko, mptsas.ko and virtio_blk.ko . I suggest you to copy cdrom content to /tmp and execute install.sh from there.
