Hi, to set up a loopback interface on Sangfor NGAF and link it with an IPsec tunnel, follow these steps:

Create a Loopback Interface:

Log in to the Sangfor NGAF management console.
Go to Network > Interfaces > Loopback Interfaces.
Click “Add” to create a new loopback interface.
Set the IP address and subnet mask.
Save your changes.

Configure the IPsec Tunnel:

Head over to Network > IPsec VPN > VPN Connections.
Click “Add” to start a new IPsec VPN connection.
Enter the connection details like name, local and remote IPs, and authentication methods.
Use the loopback interface’s IP address as the local IP.
Adjust the IKE and IPsec settings as needed.
Save the configuration.

Link the Loopback Interface with the IPsec Tunnel:

Make sure the loopback interface is selected as the local interface in the IPsec VPN settings.
Set up NAT rules to allow the loopback interface to handle outbound and inbound VPN connections.
Create security policies to permit traffic between the loopback interface and the IPsec tunnel.

Verify the Configuration:

Check the IPsec tunnel status under IPsec VPN > Status.
Ensure the tunnel is active and traffic is flowing correctly.
Is this answer helpful?

Hi, on a Sangofr NSF on our customer, i see the sub menu about loopback interfaces.
Are you using Sangofr NGAF or Sangfor NSF?
Please tell me the version of your Sangfor Device

To create a loopback interface on a Sangfor NGAF and link it with an IPsec tunnel as a peer, you can follow these steps:

On the Sangfor NGAF, go to "Network" > "Loopback Interface" and create a new loopback interface with a unique IP address. Then, go to "VPN" > "IPsec" and create a new IPsec tunnel. In the "Peer" section, select the loopback interface you created as the peer's IP address.

Additionally, configure the IPsec tunnel's authentication and encryption settings as needed. Finally, save the changes and verify that the IPsec tunnel is established successfully.
