unmarking IM/Facebook, makes Facebook page and Facebook-Messenger accessible .

Noted. Can you please unmark IM/Facebook and then try Facebook chat, is it working fine or not ? And also check for the Facebook page.

By setting "Allow" to IM/Facebook, users can also access Facebook page.

Hi
You need to create an allow policy because by default NGAF blocks all application.

So as in the above picture referred you need to mark (select) IM/facebook and IM/Facebook chat and in action select "Allow" .
I hope this will help you.

Thanks

Hi Leonard,

Although Sangfor NGAF provides a limited application control as compare to Sangfor IAM. If you want to allow only Facebook messenger and keeps other things remain block then follow these steps below:

Go to Application Control > Add new Policy > Search for keyword "Facebook" and you will see a list of categories  for Facebook apps then unmark facebook chat and facebook filetransfer.

Picture below is attached for reference.
Thanks.
