What is New?

Target Customers

a. Enterprises requiring data protection
b. Colleges and universities
c. Private and public hospitals
d. National ministries, state and municipal governments
e. Core businesses in various industries, such as HIS, MES and ERP etc.

Main Scenarios

Disaster Recovery

a. aCloud provides a reliable one-stop solution for customers. While for medium-sized customers, it provides solutions for the whole management platform.

b. aCloud provides all-round data protection to ensure business continuity, and disaster recovery enables business to fail over to remote site in the event of data center outage. aCloud provides the most efficient and cost-effective continuity solutions for customer’s businesses, which can increase customer stickiness and then prompts setting up disaster recovery sample sites, through which its market share and sales would be increased.

VS3.0

a. Large-storage Scenario: aCloud5.8.6 supports a single virtual disk to leverage global storage spaces if dozens of TB storage capacity is required by a single business.

b. High-performance Scenario: aCloud5.8.6 supports a single virtual disk to leverage spaces and performances of multiple SSDs and HDDs. The number of Oracle TMP having 1,000 users has already exceeds 300,000.

c. Failure Scenario: when host or disk fails, its data will be reconstructed and recovered without spare disk or node replacement (if certain requirements are met). Moreover, the reconstruction can reach 30 minutes per TB or more when the number of nodes or disks is over 6 or 30 respectively.

d. Easy Maintenance: aCloud 5.8.6 supports fast capacity expansion via adding single node or single disk. For capacity expansion via adding node, it takes less than 5 minutes.

Reliability Center, Disaster Recovery, Performance Enhancement, Quick Reconstruction, Easy Maintenance

a. Reliability Center: displays status of hardware resources, aCMP, VMs and businesses and leads users to configure correspondingly, which is convenient for them.

b. Disaster Recovery: provides cross-site disaster recovery service, including Disaster Recovery Task, Recover to Secondary Site, Migrate to Primary Site and visible maintenance, to enhance data protection on aCloud. Customers can now achieve cross-site disaster recovery more easily and quickly.

c. Supports single virtual machine or single disk to leverage global storage spaces to meet large-storage requirement by single business.

d. Supports file level striping and stripe width configuration for VMs, iSCSI and virtual shared disks. Also, the stripe width configurations are adaptive, to ensure best business performance in different heterogeneous scenarios.

e. Minimizes the time of recovery from failure with quick data reconstruction, to improve storage system reliability. In medium-sized scenario, the data reconstruction can reach 30 minutes per TB or more.

f. Supports fast capacity expansion via adding nodes or disks and disk group configuration because aSAN data distribution management architecture is reconfigured and data distribution algorithm is enhanced. Moreover, new version is compatible with heterogeneous scenarios to make maintenance easy.
