Hi, to remove a long-offline IP address from your Sangfor IAG, you can follow these steps:

1. Web Interface Method:

Log in to the Sangfor IAG web interface using a web browser.
Navigate to the "Interfaces" or "Network Configuration" section.
Locate the specific interface associated with the long-offline IP address.
Use the provided option to delete the interface.
Confirm the action and apply or save the changes afterward.

2. Command Line Interface (CLI) Method:

Establish an SSH connection to your Sangfor IAG device.
Access the CLI.
Use the command show interfaces to list all interfaces.
Identify the interface corresponding to the long-offline IP address.
Execute the appropriate command, such as delete interface [interface_name], to remove the interface.
Be cautious with the syntax, as it may vary based on your device's configuration.
After deletion, save the configuration changes using commands like write memory or save config

Hi,

Based on the version you are using, you may try different troubleshooting steps below:

1. Manual removal
    - check if the offline IP is associated with specific configuration (ex: deactivated user or disabled user account)
   - you can try to edit or remove to eliminate the references to the offline IP if this is related to deac er or disabled user account

2. Clear Session Table
   - Sangfor IAG usually stores information about connected devices. the Offiline IP you are seeing might be related to this information. Check and consult the Sangfor IAG documentation for additional reference. or you may reach out to Sangfor support for immediate assistance

3. Depending on the version you are using, you may try some of the approaches below:
   - access Sangfor IAG administration console
   - Go to section that manages sessions (Sessions, Active Sessions, or alike)
   - Check if you can see option to clear or delete the session table

You can try some of these steps:

Access Sangfor IAG Management Console:

Log in to the Sangfor IAG management console using your administrator credentials.

Locate Offline IPs:  The specific location for viewing offline IPs might vary depending on the Sangfor IAG version you're using. It's generally found within the security or connection management sections. Look for options like "Online Users," "Session Management," or similar.

Identify Long-Offline IPs:  Within the chosen section, you should be able to see a list of connected or logged-in devices. Identify the IP addresses that have been offline for a significant period.

Removal Process:  Once you've identified the IPs, there might be a dedicated option for "Remove," "Delete," or "Clear Offline." In some cases, you might need to select the specific IP and then choose the removal action.

Hi,
On Network Configuration you have the option to delete interface associated with the  long-offline ip addresses.

A "long offline IP" in Sangfor IAG refers to an IP address that has been inactive for an extended period. To remove it, navigate to the IP management or network settings in the Sangfor IAG interface and delete or clear the inactive IP entry from the list.

To remove long-offline IPs from Sangfor IAG (Internet Access Gateway), you typically need to access the management console of the IAG device. Here's a general outline of the steps you might take:

1. Log in to the Management Console: Open a web browser and enter the IP address or hostname of your Sangfor IAG device to access the management console. Log in using your administrative credentials.

2. Navigate to IP Management: Once logged in, navigate to the IP management section of the console. The exact location and naming of this section may vary depending on the version of the Sangfor IAG software you are using.

3. View Long-Offline IPs: Look for an option or tab within the IP management section that allows you to view long-offline IPs or inactive connections. This should display a list of IPs that have been offline for an extended period.

4. Select and Remove: In the list of long-offline IPs, select the ones you want to remove. There should be an option or button to delete or remove selected IPs from the list.

5. Confirm Removal: Confirm the action to remove the selected long-offline IPs from the Sangfor IAG device. Depending on the software interface, you may need to confirm the removal through a pop-up dialog box or confirmation prompt.

6. Save Changes: After removing the long-offline IPs, remember to save your changes if prompted to do so. This ensures that the changes take effect and are applied to the configuration of the Sangfor IAG device.

Hi,
Based on my experience, that menu is showing the allocated DHCP IP Address used by the endpoint.
You can check the allocated IP Address in DHCP server, and maybe you have the reservations IP Address for some endpoints.
If you remove the reservations IP Address, it should be disappear also from long-offline.

thanks.
