The new node must have the same or higher hardware specification than the existing node.

Same Specs required as the NODE already has assigned

minimum same spec or higher.

Hi, about node replacement on a hci cluster, it's required that the new node has: Same hci version, equal or higher cpu/ram/storage capacity than the other nodes, same or higher nici network card/port.

The same or higher spec.

1. The replacement node has compatible hardware specifications, such as CPU, RAM, and storage capacity, matching the existing nodes in the cluster.

2. The replacement node should have the necessary network interfaces and configurations, including management, storage, and overlay interfaces

3. The node should be running a compatible operating system version that matches the rest of the HCI cluster.

4. The Sangfor HCI software version on the replacement node is the same as the existing nodes to maintain compatibility and functionality.

The specifications required for node replacement in HCI includes compatibility with the existing HCI software and hardware.

Key factors to consider are the CPU (preferably multi-core, with sufficient clock speed and architecture compatibility), memory (adequate RAM to support virtual machines and workloads), storage (sufficient SSD/HDD capacity and performance to match or exceed the original node), network interfaces (matching the bandwidth and connection type, such as 10GbE or higher) and the same or higher version of the HCI management software.

The replacement node should have identical or compatible firmware, drivers and configurations to avoid any system compatibility issues or performance degradation.

Make it as a secondary and replace it

If you want to replace node, the spec should be same. if replace with different spec, need to reconfigure
