Aruba Mobility Master Unable To Boot Successfully

Issue Description

Unable to start Aruba Mobility Master virtual appliances after installed in Sangfor aCloud.
It stopped after display “Starting OS services“.

Handling Process


Hardware requirement of Aruba Mobility Master:
  • Virtual sockets: 1
    Cores per socket: 6
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • 2 HDD: At least need 4GB for first HDD, 16GB for second HDD.
  • Network card: 3 NIC with model Intel E1000

Root Cause

Aruba virtual appliances unable to start without UUID generated.

Solution

Enable UUID generator under Advanced options and reboot the VM.

Aruba VM able to boot successfully.
