ISO Migration With Error “Cannot Allocate Memory”

Issue Description

When migrating OS with ISO migration, console screen show error “Cannot Allocate Memory” and auto reboot afterwards.

Handling Process

Check the available memory specification of the operating system.

Root Cause

The error message indicates that the memory cannot be allocated.
As per checking, the VM memory is only 1G which is too small for migration.
The minimum memory requirement for migration is 2G.

Solution

Increase the VM memory to 4G and able to migrate successfully.

Suggestions

It is recommended to have 4G memory to perform migration.
