hi, if you mean to enable virtualization inside an HCI virtual machine (nested virtualization), you can try to edit the virtual machine and enable use cpu from host.
To use CPU from the host in Sangfor HCI, you can follow these steps:

Go to the “Edit VM” section.
Select “Use CPU from host” and optionally select “Para-virtualized clock”.
Click “Save” to apply the changes.

Please note that after using this feature, if the physical servers on the node use different CPU models, you will not be able to migrate the VM across nodes. However, if the physical servers use the same CPU model, you can migrate the VM as usual.
Is this answer helpful?

What you are trying to do is called nested virtualization.
It is likely possible to work as long as you setup your Sangfor HCI properly and enable the virtualization features inside the VM.

Hi guys, would like to clarify that in Sangfor HCI does not support nested virtualization. I've experienced this during my recent sites. At least that's what the Sangfor support told me

It is not recommended to install Microsoft Hyper-V on top of an existing Sangfor HCI (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure) cluster. This is because Hyper-V requires a specific hardware configuration and can potentially interfere with the Sangfor HCI's underlying infrastructure and management software. Additionally, installing Hyper-V on top of Sangfor HCI may cause conflicts and stability issues. It is recommended to use Sangfor HCI as a standalone solution for virtualization and not to mix it with other virtualization software.

Installing MS Hyper-V will create an overlapping virtualization layer, causing conflicts Run 3 and reducing system performance.
