The message "The Agent is Upgrading, please try again later" typically indicates that the agent software running on the endpoint devices is undergoing an update or upgrade process. When you enable P2P (Peer-to-Peer) functionality in the endpoint manager, it allows the agent software on each endpoint to update itself directly from other endpoints within the network, rather than relying on a central server or internet connection.

When the P2P update is initiated, the agent software on each endpoint will check for available updates from other peers in the network. If an update is found, it will download and apply the update, which can result in a temporary interruption of the agent's functionality.

Here are a few possible reasons for the issue and some steps to resolve it:

1. Update in Progress:

The message "The Agent is Upgrading, please try again later" might indicate that the update process is still ongoing, and the agent is not yet fully operational.
Give it some time to complete the update process, and the agents should become functional again once the update is successfully applied.
2. Update Failure:

There could have been a problem during the update process, which caused it to fail.
Check the logs on the endpoint manager or the individual agents to see if there are any error messages related to the update process.
If there is a failure, you may need to manually troubleshoot the issue or contact the support team of the endpoint manager for assistance.
3. Network Issues:

P2P updates rely on proper network connectivity and communication between the endpoints.
Check if there are any network issues or firewall settings that could be preventing the agents from communicating and sharing updates.
4. Version Compatibility:

Ensure that the agent software versions on all endpoints are compatible with the P2P update mechanism.
If there is a mismatch in versions or the P2P update feature is not supported in a specific agent version, it can cause issues.
5. Reset or Restart Agents:

If the issue persists, consider resetting or restarting the agents on the affected endpoints.
This can sometimes resolve update-related problems and allow the agents to function properly.
6. Check Endpoint Manager Configuration:

Double-check the configuration settings in the endpoint manager related to P2P updates and ensure they are set up correctly.

Wait for some time: Depending on the size of the update and the number of agents, the upgrade process may take a while. It's recommended to wait for some time and try again later to see if the upgrade completes and the agents become available.

The message "The Agent is Upgrading, please try again later" typically indicates that the agent software or firmware is undergoing an update or upgrade process. When the Peer-to-Peer (P2P) functionality is enabled in Endpoint Manager, it may trigger an upgrade process for the agents.

During the upgrade process, agents may be temporarily unavailable or unable to execute commands until the update is completed. This is done to ensure that all agents are running the latest version of the software, which can include bug fixes, security patches, or new features.

Please wait until the update is complete, please let us know the result.

Agent upgrade in progress, commands temporarily unavailable. Not related to MFA.

The agents will ultimately complete the upgrading and be available again. The length of time it takes to finish the update is determined by the number of agents, their processing power, and the size of the upgrade.

Please wait to upgrade all the agent. If the agents continue to display the upgrade message for an extended period or encounter other issues after the upgrade process, it may be necessary to contact the support team or vendor of the endpoint manager for further assistance

Check the status of the agents: Once the upgrade process is complete, verify the status of the agents to ensure they are no longer displaying the "The Agent is Upgrading" message.

Test agent functionality: After the upgrade, test the agents to ensure they can execute commands and perform other tasks as expected.

Wait for the upgrade process to complete: The agents will eventually finish the upgrade process and become available again. The time it takes for the upgrade to complete

Enabling P2P in an endpoint manager allows agents to share updates and packages with each other instead of relying solely on a central server or manager. When P2P is enabled, agents can act as both clients and servers, allowing them to download updates from other agents in the network.
