The configuration
Hello Packet Interval: 1 second
Threshold: 3 missed packets

I know that the default configuration interval is 1000ms and threshold is 3, is that also the recommended configuration ?

Hello packet interval is just like a keep alive msg timer, if another NSF not respond within that time then it will be consider down (failure), and Hello Packet Threshold is for the number of packet that should be sent during one time interval within this 1000ms. maximum only three packets should be send not more than that, otherwise it will create blockage in the link between two NSF.

The “Hello packet” refers to the frequency at which messages are sent between the primary and secondary firewalls to check the status and ensure synchronization. This interval helps in maintaining the HA state by regularly verifying that both firewalls are operational and in sync.
