Hi,

DHCP IP is an IP with a lease time. At the time of Lease, users will get the same IP address.
In contrast to Static IP.

Thanks

I you want to exclude .101, you should add it to the pool of your DHCP.
Pilita Lv2Posted 03 Jul 2023 10:27

Why do you not extend you  pool?
Jhazz Lv3Posted 03 Jul 2023 10:28

The 192.168.0.101 must included in the DHCP pool
Lilia Lv2Posted 03 Jul 2023 10:29

The pool is not sufficient and 101 in not inside the  pool

Actually I know the DHCP scope, I just curious is it possible to configurate as this one, just want to follow my existing view only.

you have a wrong configuration of dhcp
CLELUQMAN Lv3Posted 03 Jul 2023 10:59

you need to adjust the DHCP scope, configure a separate IP range,

You create a pool of IPs from 1 to 100 and now you want to reserve an IP 101 which doesn't exist in this pool so its obvious that it will prompt you this notification. There is nothing wrong in it. You can reserve only within this pool.

Reserving an IP address outside the DHCP scope, like 192.168.0.101, triggers an alert saying "The IP address is not within the IP pool."
