There is no advantage or disadvantage, this is for allow user to deploy VDI in different scenario according to business need.
For example Gateway Mode with Single Line is for VDI to deployed as Gateway and the external network interface is connected to ISP.


Gateway Mode with Multiple Lines is similar to above, but the environment has 2 WAN line.

Single-Arm Mode With Single Line is when VDI is to be deployed on the local area network with the firewall connected to external network thru ISP.

Single-Arm Mode With Multiple Lines is similar to above, but user has 2 WAN lines on the Firewall and wish to use both WAN IP to connect VDI from outside.

When Sangfor device is deployed in single-arm mode, the HTTPS port and HTTP port must be mapped to the Sangfor device. Otherwise, multiline selection policy will not work.
