There could be several possible reasons why the DHCP service on Sangfor NGAF is not giving out IP addresses within one hour after a machine restart. Here are some things you can check:

DHCP scope configuration: Make sure that the DHCP scope is configured correctly and has enough available IP addresses to lease out. Check the subnet mask, default gateway, and DNS settings for the scope as well.

DHCP server availability: Verify that the DHCP server is running and available on the network. Check that the server's IP address is correct and reachable from the network.

Network connectivity: Ensure that the client machine can communicate with the DHCP server over the network. Check the network connectivity and firewall settings on both the client and server machines.

Lease duration: Check the lease duration settings for the DHCP scope. If the lease duration is too long, it may take longer for the DHCP server to assign IP addresses to new devices. Try reducing the lease duration to see if it improves the situation.

DHCP server logs: Check the DHCP server logs for any errors or warnings that may indicate why the server is not assigning IP addresses.

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to contact Sangfor support for further assistance.
