aCloud P2V Converter Basic Requirement

Issue Description

There are several condition need to fullfil before migrate the physical server / virtual machines to Sangfor aCloud.

Handling Process

1. Make sure the Physical server /VM using the corresponding version for P2V Converter. If migrate to 6.1.0 Version aCloud, require to use the same version converter.

2. P2V converter only supports for window 2003 SP2 and the afterward windows version.

3. The server disk need to be basic disk, not support dynamic disk.


4. The server for P2V must have more than 2GB ram. If V2V must more than 3GB ram.


5. The server must enable "Volume Shadow Copy" services. If it is set to manual, need to start the service manually.


6. The converter is supported for 64-bit only. Contact Sangfor Technical Support when the current server is 32-bit.


7. Make sure the port 10809 to 10900 is not blocked by the middle device. It is required to ensure the port is accessible from the physical server to aCloud and aCloud to physical server.

8. Does not support NAT environment, ensure no NAT in between the aCloud and the physical server/ VM.

Suggestions

If the P2V failed, try to disable windows Firewall and Antivirus.

Hi,

Can i know where to find the windows platform supported for version 6.7 converter tools ?

My environment HCI is under version 6.7, and converter tools also version 6.7, but do having issue while configuring the migration.

The error show port 10809 cannot be reach, but I already enable it under HCI port management
