vSSL VPN Hypervisor Platform

Since the vSSL VPN has an OVA file type, theoretically it can be pretty much imported to any VMware hypervisors (e.g. ESXi, Workstation Pro, Workstation Player). My question is why is that in the vSSL Deployment Guide, ESXi is the only platform on the list? Does it have any performance or compatibility issues with type-2 hypervisors? 379915ec63f82d167c.png

As per confirmation, vSSLVPN is only supported in VMware ESXI.
For the other workstation pro and workstation players, both are not supported.

The vSSL VPN can be used on different VMware platforms, but the deployment guide specifically highlights ESXi due to its superior performance and scalability, especially in enterprise settings. While other hypervisors may work, using ESXi is recommended for optimal results in demanding environments. https://cinematiccentral.com/
