Script Single Sign-On Takes A While To Access The Internet

Issue Description

IAM is deployed in bridge mode and is configured with single sign-on. The authentication policy is password authentication after single sign-on failure.
Now when the PC enters the system, it will first redirect to the authentication interface and can’t access the Internet. After a while, it can go online normally. After normal Internet access, Online Users shows SSO.

Handling Process

1. When the PC is redirected to the authentication page, the user cannot be online.
2. Check the operating system startup item of the PC with logon.exe.
3. When the packet is captured to confirm that the PC enters the operating system, data is generated and redirected to the authentication interface by the IAM interception.

Root Cause

When the PC is booted into the operating system, traffic has already been generated, so the authentication interface will pop up first. After the logon script is executed, the user will log in successfully.

Solution

Enable “always wait for the network at computer startup and logon” in the domain group policy.
