Please make sure your NIC card is compatible with the HP server first. If the NIC card is compatible, you can try reseating it or, if a separate PCIe slot is still open, trying inserting it there.

Please perform the following troubleshooting guide for you to manage and identify if the NIC card is defective and get help with HPE Support for the replacement parts.

Reinsert the NIC card.
Try to check from the HPE iLO inventory section if there is any detected hardware specifically to NIC card.
boot from OS then checks in the network if there is any presence of the Gig port.
Try to reinstall the drivers or update from HPE download support for the latest driver.

Please follow the troubleshooting steps below to manage and determine whether the NIC card is faulty and to contact HPE Support for assistance in finding replacement parts. Put the NIC card back in.
Try to see if there is any hardware especially related to NIC cards that has been detected in the HPE iLO inventory area. Boot from the OS and then check the network to see if the Gig port is present.

To begin with, see if the NICs can be detected in the BIOS. If so, see if 4 NICs are supported by the software/OS.

Try to use other NIC card to isolate the problem either driver problem or nic card problem
