Q1: False.

Q2: True.

Q3: B) 4TB.

Q4: A) VMtools.

Q5: 1st Access the Create VM Path: Navigate to Compute > New > Create VM.

2nd Configure the VM Specification: Set up the virtual machine specifications, such as the number of CPUs, amount of memory, and disk space. You will also need to select the operating system for the VM.

3rd Install the OS in the VM: Click on Install OS to start the operating system installation process.

4th Select the ISO File: If the required OS image file is not available, you can upload it by clicking "Upload" to select the OS file.

5th Finalize Operating System Installation: Follow the prompts to complete the OS installation process.

6th Install Sangfor VMtools: After the OS installation, install Sangfor VMtools for enhanced performance and better integration.

Q6: 1. Access the Clone VM Path: Navigate to Compute > New > Clone VM.

2. Select the Virtual Machine: Choose the existing VM that you want to clone.

3. Configure Clone Options: You can choose to regenerate the UUID of the cloned VM if necessary.
The cloned VM will have the same specifications as the original VM, except for the MAC Address. Note that the NIC will be disabled and not connected by default.

4. Complete the Cloning Process: Follow the prompts to complete the cloning process. No other operations (like powering on/off, backup, or snapshot) can be performed during the cloning process.

5. Clone Types: Starting from HCI6.0.1, three types of clones are supported:
Instant Full Clone: Requires 3 nodes and above. Instantly clones the selected VM as a new independent VM, supporting only Virtual Storage.
Link Clone: Requires 3 nodes and above. Links the disk file to the original VM, also supporting only Virtual Storage.
Full Clone: Can use any datastore and cluster. Takes longer to complete.
To clone a VM, you do not need to power off the original VM, but some limited operations can be done during the cloning process.
