Question: Sangfor SCC / HCI Version Compatibility with Veeam

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some clarification regarding the compatibility between Sangfor SCC, Sangfor HCI, and Veeam.

We currently have an environment where Sangfor SCC requires an older HCI version to maintain compatibility. However, in order to integrate Veeam, we understand that the HCI platform needs to be upgraded to the latest supported version.

This creates a compatibility issue:

SCC → requires/depends on an older HCI version.
Veeam integration → requires a newer/latest HCI version.
Upgrading HCI may therefore impact compatibility with SCC.

Has anyone encountered a similar situation?

Specifically:

Which HCI versions are officially compatible with both SCC and Veeam?
Is there a recommended upgrade path that allows us to keep SCC operational while upgrading HCI for Veeam integration?
Is it possible to use Veeam with the older HCI version supported by SCC, or is an HCI upgrade mandatory?
Are there any known limitations or considerations when upgrading HCI while SCC is still in use?

Any documentation, compatibility matrix, or real-world experience would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
