I am trying to install HCI6.11.1_R1_X86(20251023) in one of our servers.

Server: SilverPeak - Unity Edge Connect
CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) E-2176G CPU @ 3.70GHz
RAM: 64 GB
HDD: 2x SEAGATE Enterprise performance 10K HDD, 1.2 TB

Problem: Every time I try to install the HCI ISO, I am getting the following error:

Exited installation program. Cause:

An Error Occured While obtaining the disk size

The SilverPeak Unity Edge Connect platform is not a standard of x86 server, meaning its RAID/disk controller may not be on the Sangfor HCI compatibility list.

Unsupported RAID controllers or RAID mode may prevent the installer from reading disk size. So I think this can result why installer disk enumeration failure.

But you can try delete All Existing RAID Arrays with delete all virtual drive, to make all physical disks are shown as raw drives

Other choice try installing Version 6.7 or 6.10 to Rule Out ISO Issues. If the same issue means that Server not compatibility with Sangfor list.

For detail, you can check compatibility at

Lastly but not least, you can try email Sangfor support at tech.support@sangfor.com , maybe they have speacial tools or customs ISO for that server

Ensure all hard drives are properly connected.
Verify Hardware Compatibility: The RAID/disk server controller, might not be on the HCI vendor list.
Ensure your disks are configured in a supported RAID level.
