Hi,

In Sangfor HCI Compatibility Chart website (HCI Compatibility Chart | Sangfor) there is Certificate and Evaluated compatibility status. I wonder what is the difference between the two?

HiHi,

In my opinion, the Sangfor HCI Compatibility Chart, "Evaluated" and "Certificate" represent distinct compatibility verification stages.

Evaluated:
Sangfor Labs has conducted internal testing and validation on the hardware/software. Basic functionality is confirmed, but no official third-party certification or formal documentation exists yet. Suitable for reference, though long-term stability requires self-assessment.

Certificate:
Includes Sangfor Labs testing plus official certification from vendors (e.g., CPU, memory, motherboard makers). Features official compatibility certificates or inclusion in vendor support lists, ensuring maximum stability and support. Recommended for production environments.

Recommendation:
Prioritize "Certificate" items for production to minimize compatibility risks and secure vendor support.

Evaluated compatibility means that the component has been tested by Sangfor Lab and declared to be compatible with Sangfor HCI, but has not yet entered the official certification stage.
