Good afternoon, dear Sangfor community.
This is Elias from El Salvador.

I have two questions: how do I activate the original licenses in Sangfor Endpoint Secure, since I currently only have the trial console?

2. How do I block webpage URLs? Can I do this even if the console is a trial version?

Sangfor Jojo has solved this question and earned 20 coins.

Hi, Here are the steps for Licensing via License File:
  • Open your browser and visit the Sangfor Licensing Server at: Sangfor Licensing Server, log in with your registered account and password.

-If you don’t have an account and password, you need to register before logging in.
-Accounts for Platform-X, Cyber Guardian, SAAS (ES, XDR & etc.) can log in directly.
  • In the initial state, no devices have been added. Click ‘Add Asset’ to add devices.
  • Check the Authorized Company first. The company name may be displayed on the asset (depending on the products) after it is activated. You can edit the company name under Personal Center if the company name is incorrect.
  • Click Confirm, and then input the device ID, SN, or Cloud ID to add your assets.
  • After successfully importing the device, you will see all Sangfor devices bound to this account, their activation status, license expiration time, etc.
  • To obtain the license file, you need to download the Device Info from the Endpoint Secure Manager to be activated. You can log into the Endpoint Secure Manager to obtain it. Export the Device Info, then upload it to My Asset List to generate the license file, and you can download the license file and import it into the Endpoint Secure Manager.

2. Blocking Webpage URLs in Sangfor Endpoint Secure
As of the standard version Endpoint Secure 6.0.2R1, address blocking is implemented as rules on the agent computers, similar to Micro-Segmentation. This means you can configure rules to block specific URLs or addresses.
Configuration Steps:
  • Navigate to the relevant section for address blocking in the Endpoint Secure console.
  • Set up rules that specify the URLs or IP addresses you want to block.

Note: The ability to block webpage URLs may depend on the specific features available in the trial version. If the trial version supports the address blocking feature, you should be able to configure it as described. However, if certain features are restricted in the trial version, you may need to upgrade to a full version to access all functionalities
