To resolve the issue of uploading an ISO file to Sangfor HCI datastore with the error message "Server rejected file upload (en_windows_server_2012_x64.ISO): Invalid file name", consider the following potential causes and solutions:

- *File Name Issues*: Ensure the ISO file name doesn't contain any special characters or spaces that might be causing the issue. Try renaming the file to something simple like "windows_server_2012.iso".
- *Datastore Configuration*: Verify that the datastore has enough free space and is properly configured. Although you've mentioned having free space, double-check the datastore capacity and ensure it matches the ISO file size requirements.
- *Network Connection*: Check your network connection stability. Try using a wired connection instead of Wi-Fi to rule out any network-related issues.
- *ISO File Integrity*: Validate the ISO file's integrity by checking for corruption or issues. Try uploading a different ISO file to see if the problem persists.
- *Upload Process*: Ensure you're following the correct upload process for Sangfor HCI datastore. You can refer to guides on uploading ISO images to datastores for step-by-step instructions.

If none of these solutions work, consider reaching out to Sangfor's technical support for further assistance. They can help you troubleshoot the issue and provide a more detailed solution ¹.

Here's the corrected version of your message:

Dear All
Thank you for your response.

The issue has been resolved by applying the solution provided by Sangfor technical support, as mentioned below:

"Based on your issue, kindly enable the display of file extensions in File Explorer first. Then, rename the file extension to .iso accordingly.
The issue was not resolved earlier because the file extension remained as .ISO (in uppercase)."
