Summer/winter time change

Janez Lv1Posted Feb-19-2025 22:06

Good morning, we have a problem that on several clusters that we have, many do not update the time automatically, we always have to do the manual procedure
Is there a way to make the change from summer time to solar time?

Thank you

Hi, i suggest you to configure a ntp server on your network environment.
After that, ensure that all hci clusters has same timezone and set this newly ntp server as time source.

Hello,
In your network setup, I advise you to set up an NTP server.
Next, set this newly created ntp server as the time source and confirm that all hci clusters are in the same time zone.

it's not a question of ntp etc. it's just that the change isn't widespread all over the world now, they should include the correction in the next updates

I did insert ntp server but it' wasn't save because not insert into checkbox. I solve unplug host clock whithVm clock.

w32tm /config /manualpeerlist:"pool.ntp.org" /syncfromflags:manual /reliable:yes /update
net stop w32time
net start w32time
Force clock w32tm /resync /force

Test clock and plug it
w32tm /query /status
w32tm /query /configuration
w32tm /query /peers
