Hi there, u won't be able to restore using the existing backups as the VM itself was deleted because the ID of VM backups used to refer the existing VM has been deleted.  Meaning that once the VM is deleted and emptied in the recycle bin, the VM backup will be automatically useless. Even if u create a new VM using the same name or structure as the previous VM, the VM backup will still not be able to communicate with the VM.

There's maybe a way that it can be restore, which is by Sangfor support team to do a recovery via the backend. As we all know even when data is formatted or deleted the data is not completely wiped out, just that the data bit is broken to pieces

However u need to verify with the sangfor support team 1st to whether they have the ability to restore it via backend.
Is this answer helpful?

Hi, thanks for reply

Support team can't restore the vm because via backend there no backup

That's crazy!!

How is it possible that all this is happening?

Sangfor server are so expensive, I can't believe it that when i delete a VM from server and empty the recycle bin, the backup become unavailable
